If you’re embarrassed by your varicose veins…
If you’re tired of the swelling in your arms or legs...
If you just want to look and feel younger...
It’s time to try Red Light (LED) Therapy
What Does Red Light Therapy Do?
Simply stated, Red Light Therapy delivers concentrated waves of red and near-infrared light into the skin and the body, which helps to stimulate our Mitochondria. This helps to produce Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the source of energy that we use for regeneration of cells and as fuel that our body uses.
When your cells are hit with the red light wavelengths, a host of regenerative effects occur, leading to potential benefits like younger-looking skin, enhanced muscle repair, diminished scarring, improved quality of sleep, diminished varicose veins, reduced symptoms of menopause, anxiety, depression and SAD.
As we age and have restricted access to sunlight due to our busy lives our ATP production slows down leaving us feeling sluggish.
Red Light Therapy not only increases ATP production, but it also helps with antioxidant production, which reduces stress associated with cell injury, muscle fatigue, and joint pain & inflammation. These antioxidants increase the production of heat proteins, which are special enzymes in the body that help protect cells from stress and early aging.
Numerous studies have also found an increase in circulation following RLT, bringing more oxygen and nutrients to your cells and tissues.

Real People Real Experiences
Red Light Therapy. It Works.
I can fill pages with the scientific details of how and why Red Light Therapy works. The proof, however, is not in the science, but in the results Red Light Therapy delivers for you.
Here’s how RLT has worked for my clients. These are people just like you, with no prior experience of RLT. Real people talking about real results.
Case Studies
All of the individuals I have recommended to try RLT with Heather have felt improvement with the first session and gained further relief with ongoing management.
Heather is very skilled in the use of LED therapy. With her many years of experience as a
massage therapist Heather has the ability to identify both the anatomical source of discomfort and the contributing musculoskeletal issues. This guides her to develop the appropriate LED protocol for the individual.
Personally, with 3 LED treatments with Heather, 5 weeks after fracturing my ulna and radius, I have no pain, normal range of motion and normal power of my wrist. After arthroscopic repair of a torn knee meniscus 3 years ago, I experienced persistent symptoms. Again with a few LED treatments there is no swelling, with full flexion and extension.
All of the individuals I have recommended to consider her management have felt improvement with the first session and gained further relief with ongoing management.

Although it wasn’t immediate, IT WORKED. I am a believer.
Having come to the end of my rope trying to deal with intense night sweats and discussing it with Heather during a massage, I agreed to try “Light Therapy” as a way to help mitigate or at least regulate the sweating. I wasn’t completely convinced that sitting in a chair with lights over my head was going to be helpful but I was willing to try because I wasn’t sleeping well and tired of literally soaking through my sheets 5 out of the 7 days of the week.
What I found after my three weeks of therapy was this:
One – it is very relaxing to sit quietly with the lights covering your head. Feet up and a nice warm blanket over your body. We all need these pauses right.
Two – Although it wasn’t immediate. IT WORKED. I am a believer. Like anything you have to stick to a schedule to see the benefits and I did!
Three – It is a great compliment to the natural medications I had begun to take. In fact I know that Light Therapy kick-started these medications into high gear. It was like a combination of efforts. The Light Therapy and the Natural medicines together were a force to be reckoned with. I say this because I had been on the natural supplements and wasn’t seeing a ton of improvement until I began with the LIGHTS!
I highly recommend experimenting with Light Therapy for perimenapausal/menopausal issues such as sleep and night sweats. It helped to regulate my sweating and improved my sleep tremendously.

Anti Aging
Red Light Therapy is being widely used for its anti-aging effects, especially for treating sun-damaged skin. As this study notes the majority of subjects reported improvements in softness, smoothness, and firmness at all time points.
RLT is non-invasive and pain free, with no downtime required after skin sessions.
Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Red Light Therapy is widely known for its effectiveness in improving skin health. A study in the journal Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery found that RLT:
- Increases collagen production in the skin
- Improves facial texture
- Reduces fine lines
- Reduces wrinkle severity
Pain Relief
Research published in the European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine demonstrates that Red Light Therapy could effectively reduce pain in adults with different musculoskeletal disorders. See the study here.
Inflammation
The Anti-Inflammatory effects of Red Light Therapy are becoming better known and understood. As noted in a study published in the journal AIMS Biophysics, many of the conditions treated by Red Light Therapy have their roots in inflammation. RLT can help with chronic inflammatory issues such as:
- Digestive conditions
- Symptoms associated with Type 2 Diabetes
- Alopecia Areata
- Inflammation of the thyroid
- Psoriasis
- Arthritis
- Tendinitis
Red Light Therapy can also help improve:
- Chronic/stubborn injuries
- Lymphedema
- Varicose veins
- Diabetic issues – neuropathies

Red Light Therapy is also being used as a treatment for acne, either alone or in combination with other treatments. The light penetrates the skin, calming the sebaceous glands and reducing inflammation, as evidenced in this study.
Scars
There are clinical studies pointing to the effectiveness of Red Light Therapy in the treatment of scars, especially burn scars. As this study notes, “Seventeen out of 19 scars exhibited an improvement after treatment”.
FAQ’S
Frequently Asked Questions
How does red light therapy work
Red and red/infrared LED lights use ranges of wavelengths that penetrate the outer layer of the skin, providing the cells with usable energy. This brings about various reactions in the cells which are believed to have benefits.
Is Red Light Therapy safe?
Red light therapy is generally considered to be very safe and there are no known side effects. However there are some considerations where you should avoid using red light or at least discuss it with your physician. If you are sensitive to light, we recommend speaking to your family doctor prior to Red Light Therapy. If you are pregnant, have cancerous or potentially cancerous lesions, or if you are taking medication such as Tetracycline, Digoxin, Retin A, or any other photosensitizing drug, you should speak to your healthcare provider before starting Red Light Therapy.
Is the light bad for my eyes?
No. The red and blue light is from the light spectrum and is not harmful to your eyes. The near infra-red can be damaging if placed over the eyes. We do not use near infra-red over the eyes.
Will this give me a tan?
Does this make my pain worse?
Isn’t blue light bad for you?
Are the lights hot?
The light provides a gentle, soothing warmth during the light sessions.
How many sessions do I need for my issue?

Chronic injury/pain/inflammation:
6-8 treatments in 3-4wks with a possible combination of massage therapy
Varicose Veins:
12 sessions – 2x/wk depending on severity of veins
Skin Conditions:
6 and 12 session packages available – 2x/wk until desired results are achieved
Products available to support skin rejuvenation and acne support
Immune Boosting:
